MarketPlain ("Platform") shares this Privacy Policy to detail how we collect, store, and use information gathered through our trading game, website, and related services (collectively, "Platform services"). MarketPlain values user privacy and takes information security seriously. You deserve clarity on what we collect and how it's used when you trade on our Platform.
The types of information we collect and how we collect it
Personal Information
MarketPlain integrates third-party SDKs to power advertisements, track gameplay metrics, process in-game purchases, and manage leaderboards and user accounts. Third-party partners may access this data only for Platform operations under applicable law. This includes persistent ad identifiers, location data, and IP addresses. We encourage reviewing third-party privacy policies below. When you request it, we collect email addresses for mailing lists, account recovery, and support inquiries. Some Platform features require a username so other traders can identify you on the leaderboards and in shared games.
Non-personal Information
Third parties collect non-identifying technical data during your gameplay. This includes device type, browser, screen resolution, language, operating system, and general location. Third-party services use this for analytics and limited research purposes. Review their policies below. MarketPlain also collects anonymous gameplay data internally for service improvement. This data is generic and cannot identify individual users. It's gathered each time you trade.
Service Specific Information
If you connect a social account or game service, we may display your profile picture and username locally on your device. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
What we do with the personal information we collect
Ad partners track ad performance, your interactions with advertisements, and your trading interests to serve targeted ads aligned with their business goals. This may include personal data. Usernames identify traders to other players on leaderboards. MarketPlain prohibits anyone under 13 from including personally identifiable details in their username, including first name, last name, email, or address.
What we do with the non-personal information we collect
Third-party partners use non-personal data for analytics, research, or ad targeting purposes only. This data cannot identify users. Review their policies below. MarketPlain uses non-personal gameplay data to research user behavior and improve future updates.
What we do with service specific information we collect
If MarketPlain stores identifiers from Facebook, Twitter, Apple Game Center, or Google Play Games, it's required for specific features. For example, an identifier might save your high score so friends can see your rank. You may contact us to delete this information for yourself or your child under 13.
How to opt-out of targeted advertising
To disable interest-based ads, adjust your device settings. On iOS, enable Limit Ad Tracking under Settings → Privacy → Advertising. On Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (exact location varies by device and Android version). Children
We take child privacy seriously under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from users under 13. When a Platform service targets children under 13, we configure all systems to block personal information collection and ensure third-party integrations do the same. Review third-party policies for additional protections. Services for children still display ads from third-party operators and MarketPlain promotions, but these ads are not targeted based on collected data—they broadcast to all users. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 provided us personal information, contact us below and we will delete it.
Disclosure of Personal information
We share personal data only when: required by law; we believe it's necessary to protect our rights or assets; we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale; you give consent; or as stated above regarding third-party operators. MarketPlain will not sell, rent, or release your data otherwise. Contact MarketPlain to access, update, or delete your personal information at support@gmail.com. You have the right to these requests and cannot be penalized for exercising them. A small fee may apply for access and disclosure where permitted by law.

Advertising Networks: MarketPlain displays ads from third-party ad networks. We ensure these networks comply with applicable privacy laws. Services directed at children under 13 are configured for COPPA compliance. European Union users benefit from GDPR compliance. In-App Purchases: Third-party checkout systems process transactions.
